All Minuit sur Terre products are made from Oeko-Tex certified materials and contain no animal products.
We offer ecofriendly and qualitative alternatives to animal leather: grape leather (made from wine waste and vegetable oils), apple leather, carbon-neutral cereal lining, textiles made from recycled plastic bottles, recycled synthetic fibres, recycled cotton or Eco-Nappa or Eco-Suede.

All our articles are manufactured in the region of Porto, Portugal, in small workshops where workers’ rights are regulated, guaranteeing their safety and good working conditions. Portugal is known for its know-how in footwear and handbags and its proximity to France allows us to limit our carbon impact.

Choosing French manufacturing would unfortunately have had a significant impact on our prices due to the high cost of manufacturing: we are keen to offer ethical and high quality items at a price that remains affordable.
Opting for a European manufacture seemed obvious to us for an ethical brand: our choice naturally went to Portugal because of its know-how in shoes and handbags and its proximity to France. 959 kilometres separate our Bordeaux offices from Porto.
All our products are PETA Approved Vegan certified, which guarantees that no animal products are present.
All the materials we use are also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified: this certifies the absence of harmful products, for the health of workers or for the body of the person in contact with the material.
The material used for the inner lining of our shoes is made of cereals and recycled materials.
Since the spring of 2020, we have also been using new ecofriendly and recycled materials: based on recycled plastic bottles for the mesh of our sneakers, laces and the lining of our bags, or based on grapes (wine waste and vegetable oils) for our sneakers or apples for our sneakers and bags.
We want to reduce our impact on the planet by moving more and more towards this type of material, ensuring their quality and durability beforehand. In the spring of 2021, we would like to expect a target of 80% recycled or vegetal materials.
